For as long as I can remember, I have loved the water and the sport of swimming. It was a favorite past time of mine growing up, be it in the backyard with my family or on a competitive team.   While I went on to receive my Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, I was always drawn back to the water and during high school and college breaks, I started teaching swimming to children.

I have been very fortunate to merge my passion for swimming and my love of children into a profession and have taught thousands of students over my more than 40 year career, teaching them to achieve life saving water safety and swimming skills and an overall love for the water.

I am certified by the American Red Cross in Water Safety Instruction, First Aid, and CPR.

I look forward to working with you and your children this summer.
