LESSON POLICY

In an effort to provide a successful, healthy, and motivating experience for your child, it is important to note the following:

1. Talk to your child about swimming lessons and water safety in a positive light.

2. Make the commitment to practice the techniques with your child.

3. Pool heaters must be set to at least 86 degrees.

Make-up lessons must be completed within the five-week session. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. See the following cancellation policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY

My utmost concern is effective and thorough instruction. You can help make the process as effective as possible through consistent attendance and promptness for each scheduled appointment. Please have your child in their suit ready to get in the pool at the scheduled time.

A prearranged specific day and time has been reserved for your lessons.  Make up lessons will be scheduled in the event of illness only. I require at least 24 hours advanced notification of any illness, or by 8:00 a.m. the day of your lesson, to be eligible for a make up lesson. Unfortunately, we cannot provide make up lessons for any other reasons including, but not limited to, pool malfunctions, special play dates, birthday parties, extracurricular activities, out of town guests, and/or last minute vacations. All other cancellations will be charged. There will be no exceptions. It is the client’s responsibility to arrange the make up lesson with the instructor within the 5-week session. If you fail to cancel or forget to attend your scheduled appointment, the lesson will be charged.

All pre-scheduled vacations requiring a make up lesson must be prearranged with Dena prior to the first lesson of that session or a make up lesson will not be granted.
